  • Grammy Success: He mastered the album Cedar Dream Songs by Native American singer-songwriter Bill Miller, which won a Grammy Award in 2005. He also mixed and recorded parts of Michael Martin Murphey's Grammy-nominated album Buckaroo Blue Grass.

  • Collaborations: In 2020, he recorded and produced the activist track "No More Pipeline Blues," which featured legendary artists Bonnie Raitt, the Indigo Girls, and Poet Laureate Joy Harjo.

  • Podcasts & Live Work: He produces the Community of Goodness podcast alongside Tom Thibodeau and Larry Long, which records live folk and storytelling events.

Teaching and Mentorship

Huus also passes his extensive knowledge down to the next generation of audio professionals. He serves as a faculty member at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, teaching advanced studio recording and live audio production for the school's Music Industry B.A. program.
