Always: A Celebration of Irving Berlin

Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025 at 7:30 p.m.
Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre

Free Concert. General Admission.
Seating first come, first served. No reservation required.

Irving Berlin embodies the quintessential American success story. As immigrant escaping religious persecution in Russia and overcoming abject poverty in New York City, he rose the pinnacle of the entertainment industry and popular culture though his uniquely ingenious songs. Some of the tunes you’ll hear include Cheek to Cheek, What’ll I Do, Remember and How Deep is the Ocean

Marck will be joined by longtime colleagues Greg Balfany on saxophone, Karyn Quinn on bass, and Rich MacDonald on drums. Marck spends much of the year in New York, where he is an acclaimed jazz pianist. He returns to La Crosse each year to visit friends and family and to perform in the area. This is his 10th free concert at Viterbo.

Sponsored by the Bob and Jean Marck Gift of Music and the La Crosse Community Foundation Ambrosius Fund.
