Dr. Dan Barr is the keyboardist and piano player for the Gate City Jazz Band, a long-running Dixieland jazz group based out of Winona, Minnesota.
Dr. Dan Barr is a central figure in the Upper Mississippi River region's vibrant jazz scene. He moved to Winona in the early 1980s and originally joined the band as a tuba player before eventually moving over to the keyboards and piano, where he plays today.
