Jacob Burkhart is a trumpet player, band leader and educator living in Rochester, Minnesota. Playing music of all shapes and sounds, Jacob has performed all around the Midwest most notably with Duluth Transit Authority, Amateur, John Paulson Big Band, Austin Symphony Orchestra and Loud Mouth Brass Band. While not playing trumpet, Jacob teaches privately and directs the Austin Community Jazz Band. Jacob holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Minnesota Duluth in Jazz Studies and Education.
