John Sievers is a trombonist who has played with groups like Jaggedease, The John Paulson Big Band, Swing Street, H30, and Loud Mouth Brass. He leads the the small jazz combo The D'Sievers, is the founder and curator for the Rochester City Jazz Festival, and has also shared stages with musicians like Benny Golson and Louie Bellson. John has performed at music festivals like The Twin Cities Jazz Festival, The Minnesota Original Music Festival, Big Turn Music Festival, and Midwest Music Fest. John has recorded on a variety of projects including The D'Sievers record Tombots and Mermaids and the John Paulson BIg Band record Teh Refuge Project.
