Nancy Allen is a prominent pianist, vocal director, and Professor Emeritus of Music at Viterbo University. She is highly celebrated in the regional arts community for her decades of work directing local choirs, mentoring young vocalists, and producing popular community musical theater and cabaret showcases.

Viterbo University Legacy: She spent 25 years as a central faculty member of the Viterbo University Music Department, serving as an Associate Professor and director of the adult choir and show choir programs.
Show Choir Innovation: She was instrumental in coordinating Viterbo's annual 101 Show Choir Competition, hosting and clinics-training high school vocal groups across the Midwest.
Local Roots: An alumna of Viterbo herself (Class of 1984), she originally intended to be a Broadway music director before pivoting to music education. She officially retired from full-time university teaching in 2023.
